Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Murphy is in her fourth season with the Coyote swim program; heads into her senior season as a 10-time NAIA All-American.

2020-21: Earned NAIA All-America honors as an individual qualifier to the canceled NAIA National Championships; recorded top times of 24.12 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and 53.12 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle at the A.I.I. Championships; named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

2019-20: Qualified for the NAIA National Championships in three individual events - earning All-America honors after a seventh-place finish in the championship final of the 50-yard freestyle (24.01) and an eighth-place finish in the championship final of the 100-yard freestyle (52.55); also placed 43rd in the preliminary heats of the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.92); was a part of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams that earned All-America honors; clocked a season-best time of 1:02.23 in the 100-yard backstroke at the Washington Open; earned CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-District 4 and second-team CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-America honors.

2018-19: Had a banner freshman season, earning five NAIA All-America honors - placing seventh in the championship final of the 50-yard freestyle (24.34), swimming the lead leg of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relays and the anchor leg of the 200-medley and 400-medley relays, which each placed in the Top-5; placed fourth in the consolation finals of the 100-yard freestyle (53.40) and 24th overall in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.53).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Mountain View High in Georgia, where she was a 6A state qualifier; had top times of 28.05 in the 50-free and 1:13.62 in the 100-back.
