Box Score CALDWELL, Idaho - The No. 10 Yotes improved to 5-0 after dismantling the Gonzaga Bulldogs 19-2 at Simplot Stadium. 10 Yotes notched goals onto the score sheet highlighting the depth of strength The College of Idaho possesses.
Once again leading the Yotes attack,
Grayson Flatten scored four goals and added three assists to pick up another seven points.
Hunter Duran had a hat trick and a pair of assists to collect five points.
Jordan Steele,
Nate Badger,
Wyatt Neu, and
Logan Bjornethun all bagged two goals in the victory.
Noah Geise continued to excel from the face off X. He won 14 out of his 15 match ups. Geise also picked up nine groundballs. Making his collegiate face off debut,
Cameron Rudis won all six of his face offs.
Defensively, the Yotes held firm. C of I communicated and moved together effectively to stifle nearly all of the Zags possessions. The College of Idaho limited the Bulldogs to only five shots on target.
Chris Niemann obliterated the opposition by causing four turnovers. He was also quick to pick up four groundballs in the win.
