Lantz, Nienhouse, and Rice Earn MCLA All-Tournament

Richmond, Va. – The MCLA announced Colin Lantz, Noah Nienhouse and Brogan Rice as all-tournament honorees for the 2026 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance. The trio played key roles in The College of Idaho's run to the national semifinals for the second time in program history.

Lantz started the tournament strong with four goals and two caused turnovers against No. 12 University of Tampa. He finished the championship with 10 goals in three games, including hat tricks against No. 4 Air Force and No. 1 University of St. Thomas.

Nienhouse scored one of the most dramatic goals by a defender in program history. With 90 seconds remaining in the first overtime period against Air Force, Nienhouse cleared the ball end to end and created enough space to score the game-winning goal.

Rice delivered a historic performance in goal. In the quarterfinals, he set a tournament record for most saves in a game. Rice totaled 28 saves against Air Force and finished the tournament with 54 saves across three games.

Fueled by its all-tournament selections, The College of Idaho won a program-record 16 games this season. The Yotes showcased their potential throughout the postseason, with every player who appeared in the semifinal slated to return next season. With experience gained from the national tournament run, C of I is positioned for another deep postseason push.
