ATLANTA, Ga. - The MCLA announced its Scholar Athletes for the 2026 season, recognizing student-athletes who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom. The College of Idaho had four student-athletes earn the prestigious honor, as
Grayson Flatten,
Parker Allumbaugh,
Trevor Shoopman and
Wyatt Neu were all named to the list.
The Scholar Athlete designation highlights individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence while also making significant contributions to their team's success during the season. Each of The College of Idaho honorees played a key role for the Yotes throughout the year while maintaining strong performances in the classroom.
To be eligible for Scholar Athlete recognition, student-athletes must earn all-conference honors and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher. The award reflects the MCLA's emphasis on balancing athletic achievement with academic success.
The recognition adds to a successful season for the Yotes and underscores the dedication of Flatten, Allumbaugh, Shoopman and Neu to excellence in all aspects of the student-athlete experience.
