CALDWELL, Idaho – College of Idaho freshman setter Shaynee McWilliams has been named the Cascade Conference Setter of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
McWilliams made an immediate impact in her debut weekend with the Yotes, guiding the offense to a 3-0 start that included a five-set upset of No. 2 Bellevue. She tallied 41 assists and 16 digs in that victory alone, finishing the weekend with 74 assists and 22 digs across three matches.
Her poise and consistency helped College of Idaho open the season undefeated, while earning her the first weekly honor of her collegiate career.
