CALDWELL, Idaho — Four College of Idaho women's volleyball student athletes earned recognition on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District women's volleyball team, honoring excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Kadance Jacobson, Mia Hutchinson, Alexa Wheeler and Liza Montalbo were selected among the nation's top student athletes after meeting stringent academic and athletic criteria. To be eligible, nominees must maintain a high cumulative grade point average while also satisfying game participation requirements, with each institution limited to a maximum of four nominees.
The Academic All-District teams are selected by College Sports Communicators and serve as part of the Academic All-America program. Women's volleyball honorees are recognized across four divisions including NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA, with Academic All-America selections announced at a later date.
The quartet's recognition highlights the Yotes' continued commitment to excellence in the classroom and competitive success on the court.
