Hutchinson Earns AVCA All-American Honorable Mention

CALDWELL, Idaho — College of Idaho senior outside hitter Mia Hutchinson earned honorable mention AVCA All-American honors, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Hutchinson capped her 2025 season as the Yotes' most productive offensive player, leading the team with 351 kills and 383.5 points while appearing in all 114 sets. She averaged 3.08 kills per set, consistently anchoring the College of Idaho attack throughout the year.

In addition to her offensive production, Hutchinson proved to be a complete six-rotation player, recording 181 digs and 41 total blocks while contributing in serve receive. She finished the season with a .176 hitting percentage on more than 1,000 attack attempts, often drawing the opponent's top defensive attention.

Hutchinson's All-American recognition adds to an accomplished season for the Yotes, who finished with a 19-12 overall record and advanced to postseason play. Her leadership and consistency played a key role in the team's success both in conference and on the national stage.

The AVCA All-America program recognizes the nation's top collegiate volleyball student-athletes for excellence on the court during the season.
