CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho men's and women's golf were both picked to finish fifth in the preseason Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) pre-season poll.
The men rallied 44 points on their tally. A key returner on the men's side is 2025 CCC Championship tournament runner-up
Lucas Rynearson. He comes off a scoring average of 74.89 last season and boasted 5 under par tournaments.
Carson King also returns after having a solid 75.32 average last year and looks to improve on last year finishing in the top five in two out of seven tournaments. Team Captain
Parker Edwards looks to return on his 2023-24 All-Conference form. He shot 67 twice during tournament rounds last spring and was co-medalist against local NCAA Division II rivals Northwest Nazarene Univ. (Idaho). Head Coach
Jeff Davies expectes a lot of parity between the entire men's roster and expects all eight on the squad to contribute at different points this season.
On the women's side, the Yotes tallied 32 points.
Reece Garey comes into the new year with momentum as she finished in fifth place in the 2025 CCC Championship Tournament. She averaged 80.18 strokes last season. Laurn Bulger (average of 86.24 strokes) and
Olivia Lammey (average of 86.35 strokes) both look to build on promising seasons. Looking to build off of last year's promising, young roster, Davies didn't add a new member to the squad.
