CALDWELL, Idaho - Six Yotes across men's and women's basketball earned CSC Academic All-District honors. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
C of I's women's basketball team had four honorees that included
Taryn Riley,
Mia Austin,
Anna Mooney, and
Lainee Houillon. For the men,
Dougie Peoples and
Alex Germer earned the nod.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must be a sophmore or greater academically and athletically as well as maintaining a 3.5 GPA in the classroom while attending their instution for at least a year. On the court, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
