EAGLE POINT, Ore. - Yotes golf traveled to the Southern Oregon Spring Classic. The men's team finished in sixth while the women finished in fourth. Them men competed over three rounds while the women competed in two rounds at the 72 par Stone Ridge Golf Course.
The men were led by
Carson King who led the Yotes over three rounds at +7 which earned him 21st among participants. King tallied 11 birdies over the tournament. He shot his best round to open, finishing an even par.
Parker Edwards recorded the best third round total by anyone in the field. He carded 67 in a bogey-less round. He finished the tournament T22 with a +8.
Braden Brown (+14) finished 34rth and
Jack Phipps (+20) placed T38. Not included in the team scoring,
Lucas Rynearson finished 33rd posting a 71, 79, and 79 through three rounds. As a team, the men finished +39 in sixth place.
The women's team finished in 5th after moving up two spots on day two and finished the tournament +105.
Kaylee Jones led the Yotes finishing T19 with a +21 while rolling in three birdies in the two rounds. Not far behind,
Reece Garey finished the tournament in 21st with a +23.
Lauryn Bulger (+27) and
Olivia Lammey (+34) finished in 23rd and 32nd respectively.Â
The Yotes will wrap up the season at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships. The tournament will be hosted by Multnomah Univ. at the Glendoveer Golf Club from April 21st through 23rd.
