PORTLAND, Ore. – The College of Idaho men's and women's golf teams wrapped up a strong showing at the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Golf Championships at Glendoveer Golf Course, highlighted by top five honors for Reece Garey and Lucas Rynearson. The men's team finished fourth in the conference with a three day total of 904. The women's team finished tied for fourth with a three round total of 976.
On the men's side. senior Lucas Rynearson delivered a stellar performance, tying for 2nd place with a three-round total of 214 (-5). His consistent play was marked by a scorching second-round 69 (-4) and capped by a final round 72 (-1). Rynearson's highlight came early in the third round when he eagled the par-5 2nd hole. Over the course of the tournament, he tallied an impressive 13 birdies, demonstrating poise and precision on a challenging course.
Junior Parker Edwards contributed a solid showing for the Yotes, finishing T16 with a total score of 226 (+7), which included eight birdies across the three days. Also competing for the Yotes were Carson King (T24, +13), Jack Phipps (31st, +18), and Nathan Ishaya (T40).
The Yotes placed 4th as a team with a three-day total of 904 (298-305-301).
On the women's side, sophomore Reece Garey stood out, finishing 5th overall with a three-round score of 229 (+10). Garey's play was highlighted by 11 birdies, including a steady final round of 75 (+2) to secure All-CCC honors and lead the Yotes to a tie for 4th place in the team standings (976 total).
Senior Kaylee Jones also delivered a solid performance, finishing T11 with a total of 239 (+20), bolstered by five birdies during the championship. Rounding out the Yotes' lineup were Lauryn Bulger (T17, +29), Olivia Lammey (T26, +41), and Karissa Goff (35th, +56).
