BELLINGHAM, Wash - The College of Idaho lacrosse team were victorious over Western Washington University. The Yotes' offensive found the prolific touch to put 15 goals in the back of the net.
Paul O'Neill led the Yotes scoring four goals on the day.
Alex Ozuna also was strong in the attack by contributing a hattrick in the victory. He also contributed two assists to lead the Yotes with five points on the day.
Max Anderson and
Grayson Flatten also had a pair of assists.Â
The Yotes continued the trend of faceoff success today by winning 11 of 19 total faceoffs.
Jacob Wong held steady making an impressive 16 saves to ensure the Yotes left victorious.

Lanson Drain both gobbled up seven groundballs in a strong defensive showing. Anderson also led the team in caused turnovers by making the Viking commit three turnovers while
Chris Niemann caused another two.Â
Next up for the Yotes will be Western Oregon University. They will take them on in Monmouth, Oreg. The game starts at 1pm MT on March 16th.Â
