Glendale, Ariz. – The College of Idaho tennis team made history at their first-ever ITA tournament, claiming two titles. The Yotes secured a second-place finish in the main doubles draw and a first-place victory in the consolation doubles bracket despite 115 degree heat.

Hristina Ljuba had an impressive run, defeating the No. 2 seed from Arizona Christian University 9-7 before falling to the top-seeded Ottawa University team in the finals, 6-2, 6-4. In the consolation bracket, Berkeley Klarich and Alden Long claimed victory with an 8-6 win over Hope International University from California.

Hristina Ljuba advanced to the quarterfinals after winning two matches but was ultimately defeated by one of the finalists.
