WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Led by the third individual title by senior
Tristan Belue, the College of Idaho men's golf team finished second at the Walla Walla Invitational.
Belue took home the individual title by two strokes with a one-over par 145 (+1, 72-73) for a two-stroke victory. Belue and his teammates shot a 36-hole total of 614 (+38, 307-307) to take second behind Multnomah, who posted a +31, (309-298).
Jake O'Neil, who just wrapped up his basketball season, as an individual shared fifth place with a 148 (+6, 77-73). The third Yote in the top 10 was
Kaisaan Virani, who was ninth after posting a 153 (+9, 77-76).
Next for College of Idaho was another individual as
Jack Phipps shot a 156 (+12, 78-78), who finished 11th. Teammates
Evan Inglesby and
Braden Brown finished with a 157 (+13) to share 12
th. Also for C of I,
Carson King was in a share of 19
th with a 160 (+16, 75-85) and
Parker Edwards tied for 22
nd with a 163 (+19, 83-80).
