PULLMAN, Wash – The #22 College of Idaho Yotes (5-2) battered Gonzaga (2-4) 23-3 in the neutral site contest. Eight Yotes were able to put goals on the board, led by #
Nate Badger with five goals.
Alex Ozuna had the hot offensive touch putting up 11 points from four goals and seven assists.
Kip Childs also had a strong outing putting up three goals an assist.
An all-around offensive and defensive effort,
Jordan Steele scored four goals and added two assists while picking up five ground balls. No one picked up more loose balls than #
David Alvarado who grabbed 12 ground balls while also scoring one and assisting on another. He also put up an astonishing 75% win-rate in faceoffs, winning 16 faceoffs in the contest.
The Yotes will take a weekend off before traveling to Logan, Utah for a neutral site game against the Wyoming Cowboys (1-2) on April 5
th at USU Legacy Fields.
