SALEM, Ore. – The College of Idaho women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Willamette on Friday evening.
The host Bearcats won two of three doubles matches to secure the double point. College of Idaho came back to regain the lead in singles with wins at No. 1 by
Lauren Kreutzer and at No. 2 by
Nicole Tran. Kreutzer and Tran were 8-4 winners at No. 1 doubles.
Willamette was victorious in a pair of close contests at No. 3 in three sets as
Anna Willcuts dropped a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 decision and at No. 5 singles
Lauren Osburn lost by a 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (14-12) margin on its way to the 6-3 victory.
Next, College of Idaho will face George Fox on Saturday at 10 a.m. (PST) and Pacific at 4 p.m. (PST).
