CALDWELL, Idaho - College of Idaho junior quarterback
Andy Peters completed 23 of 39 passes for 335 yards and two touchdowns and had 11 rushes for 103 yards in a 37-35 win over Montana Western en route to being named the Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
One of the completions and touchdowns was on the final play of the game when
Jon Schofield caught a 25-yard pass that was tipped by a pair of teammates to propel the Yotes to the victory. His 300 yards passing and 100 yards rushing are the first by a C of I quarterback since Tyler Cox against MSU Northern in the 2017 season finale.
Peters and No. 12 College of Idaho after starting the season with three-straight home games will have a bye this weekend before resuming Frontier Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Montana Tech for a noon kickoff.
