KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The College of Idaho will send 16 student-athletes to the 2023 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 24-26 in Marion, Indiana on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.
Among the 16 student-athletes that have secured a spot at the meet include:
Hayden Bostrom (Boise, Idaho / Timberline HS) in the 5000 and 10000m run,
Daniel Butler (Buhl, Idaho / Buhl HS) in the 1500m run,
Molly Connor in the 10,000m run,
Kahea Figueira (Spokane, Wash. / Mount Spokane HS) in the 5000m run,
Braden Heath (Meridian, Idaho / Rocky Mountain HS) in the 3000m steeplechase,
Star Herron (Bellevue, Idaho / Wood River HS) in the shot put,
Lane Maher (Pendelton, Ore. / Pendelton HS) in the 110m hurdles,
Sage Martin (Meridian, Idaho / Rocky Mountain HS) in the 3000m steeplechase and the 5,000m run,
Larissa Mauer (Spring Creek, Nev. / Spring Creek HS) in the 3,000m steeplechase,
Abbey Shirts (Weiser, Idaho / Weiser HS) in the 800 and 1500m run,
Ellyse Tingelstad (Joseph, Ore. / Joseph HS) in the 5000m and 10000m run,
Roby Young (Adrian, Ore. / Adrian HS) in the heptathlon,
Addison Trent (Basalt, Idaho / Firth HS) in the long jump along with
Charlotte Bowman (Rockland, Idaho / Rockland HS),
Chloe Barylski (Nampa, Idaho / Ridgevue HS) and
Sage Wood (Mud Lake, Idaho / West Jefferson HS) in the 4x100m relay.
The event begins on Wednesday, May 24 with the men's decathlon.
