Parker Edwards continues his hot stretch to the CCC Championships, leading the Yotes after two rounds played at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Oregon.
Edwards posted a three over par score of 38 on the front nine. He would par the par four first hole before recording a birdie on the par three second. Edwards would then alternate between pars and bogeys over the next seven holes to finish the front side with a score of 39. Following a pair of pars to start the back nine, Edwards carded his lone birdie on the back half on the par four 12th. Edwards would go on to end his round with a back nine score of one over 37 en route to a total round of four over 75, which puts him in a tie for seventh place entering the final day.
Tristan Belue got his day started on the shotgun start on the par four 15th, as he would par his first five holes of the day, stretching to the par four first. Following five straight pars, Belue would card his first birdie on the day on the par three second. A few bogeys and double bogeys would see his score on the front nine end at an eight over 43. The back nine started with a par on the 10th hole, followed by a bogey on the 11th. Belue would then record his final birdie on the day on the following hole, as he would finish the back nine at an even par score of 36, finishing the day eight over for the round, and 12 over through two rounds, which is good for 17th.
Shane Rene got his day started on the par four 15th, opening his round with a bogey. He would then par the following two holes followed by a bogey to end the back nine through his first four holes. He would go on to par his first three holes on the front nine en route to five pars on the front nine, ending the first half with a four over 39. Rene would end his day with a seven over score of 78.
