IRVINE, Calif. - The College of Idaho and Westcliff University women's tennis teams waited out rain throughout the day before getting its match in on Wednesday. Westcliff went on to defeat C of I by a 7-0 margin.
The Warriors swept all three doubles matches by a 6-0 margin to start the contest. Westcliff went on to win all six singles matches on its way to a 7-0 win. The Yotes'
Lauren Kreutzer was lost by a 6-3, 6-4 margin at No. 1 singles. In other tightly contested matches,
Summer Townsend lost by a 6-1, 6-2 score at No. 5 singles.
The Spring Break trip for College of Idaho will wrap up on Friday with a noon (PT)/1 p.m. (MT) matchup against Hope International in Fullerton, California.
