LEWISTON, Idaho - The College of Idaho men's golf team finished fourth at the LCSC Warrior Spring Invite at the Lewiston Golf & Country Club in Lewiston, Idaho on Tuesday.
Host Lewis-Clark State took the team title by 26 strokes with an 854 (283-288-283) in the six-team field. College of Idaho shot a 908 (301-310-297). The Warriors were paced by individual winner, Jorgen Viken, who shot a 54-hole total of 209, -7 (69-72-68).
The top finisher for the Yotes was
Tristan Belue, who finished 13th, with a 54-hole total of 222 (70-79-73). He was joined in the top 20 by
Parker Edwards, who shot a 223 (71-77-75) to share 14th place honors. Also for College of Idaho,
Shane Rene shared 22nd with a 230 (78-77-75), followed by
Ethan Schloss (24th, 233) and
Braden Brown (41st, 258). As individuals, Kaissan Virani was tied for 31st with a 241 (84-80-77) and
John Scott Senz was 42nd with a 259 (90-82-87).
Next, the College of Idaho will take part in the 2023 TMU Spring Invite from Mar. 26-28 at Crystalaire Country Club in Palmdale, California.
