BOISE, Idaho - At the USCSA Western Regionals at Bogus Basin in Boise, the College of Idaho women's ski took sixth in giant slalom with a combined time of 5:32.68. Rocky Mountain College took home the team title with a 14-second advantage of runner-up University of Colorado. RMC had the top four individual finishers with Hilde Sato having the top combined time of 1:37.95, just .05 ahead of teammate Bergitte Varne.
The top finisher for College of Idaho was
Taylor Watkins, who had a combined time of 1:43.02 en route to a 10th place finish. Teammate
Amy Farley was 13
th with a combined time of 1:43.90, next for College of Idaho was
Kailey Owen, who finished 46th with a combined time of 2:05.76 to round out the top three.
The event will continue with Saturday's slalom event. Â
The team will race once more on Saturday in the USCSA Western Regionals.
