BOISE, Idaho - For the third-straight day, the College of Idaho was up against a NCAA Division I team. This time, it was UTEP and the Miners posted the 7-0 win over the Yotes on Sunday afternoon.
College of Idaho (1-4) fell behind early as the visitors won all three doubles matches to secure the point. ,
The singles matches saw College of Idaho make some tweaks to its lineup as the Miners won all six matches.
Lauren Kreutzer lost by a 6-2, 7-6 narrow margin at No. 2 singles. Also,
Leiana Almaraz lost by a 6-0, 6-1 margin at No. 1 and
Anna Willcuts dropped a 6-2, 6-0 decision at No. 5 singles despite a solid effort.
Next, College of Idaho will travel to face Pacific Lutheran (Sat., Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.) and Puget Sound (Sun., Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.)
