KELLOGG, Idaho –
Sasha Mueller and
Taylor Watkins finished second and third, respectively to lead the College of Idaho women's ski team to its second win over the weekend at the NWCSC Qualifier on Sunday.
Mueller started the day, having the third fastest opening run (40.14) and came back with the fastest second run on the day (38.58) for a combined time of 1:18.72. Watkins had the second fastest first run with a time of 40.12 and the third fastest second run with a time of 39.49 for a combined time of 1:19.61.
The third finisher for the Yotes was
Kayla Vandecoevering, who was 12th with a combined time of 1:32.69. She crossed the line in her first run in a time of 47.85 and a second run time of 44.84.
