CALDWELL, Idaho / GULF SHORES, Alabama – Friday marked the final day of competition at the 2022 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The College of Idaho women were led by a pair of All-American performances in the 3,000m steeplechase by
Sage Martin, who was third and
Larissa Mauer, who was eighth. Martin crossed the line in a time of 10:41.98, whereas Mauer was across the line in a personal PR by 13 seconds with a time of 10:50.64
Catylynn Duff finished 18
th in the discus with a toss of 137-3 (41.84m) on her final effort of the championship.
As a team, College of Idaho finished tied for 16
th with 15 points. It is the fourth-best finish in program history.
Not mentioned in Thursday's efforts was the 12
th place finish of
Kiersten Lancaster in the 100m hurdles, who finished in 14.39.
