ASHLAND, Ore. - The College of Idaho women's track and field team finished third with 122 points at the Cascade Conference Championship hosted by Southern Oregon University on Saturday.
The Yotes landed three in the top five in the 5,000m run as
Sage Martin was the first across the finish line in a time of 17:48.99, followed by Roba Anna, who was fourth (18:37.49) and
Larissa Mauer was fifth (18:40.96).
Also, on the track,
Abbey Shirts was second in the 800m run with a season-best time of 2:14.51.
Kiersten Lancaster took fifth in the 400m hurdles (1:05.44) and
Ruby Stewart was ninth (1:09.09).
Sage Wood finished seventh (12.35),
Jessica Dorohov was eighth (12.42) and Charlotte Wilson was ninth (12.47) in the 100m dash. Dorohov was eighth in the 200m dash (25.70).
In the field events,
Catylynn Duff recorded a NAIA "A" qualifying mark with a runner-up finish in the discus with a throw of 144-5 (44.01m). Teammate
AaLea Kolb was fourth with a season-best toss of 135-2 (41.20m).
Dylan Lovett was seventh in the triple jump with a leap of (34-4 3/4 / 10.48m), teammate
Roby Young was eighth (34-3 / 10.44m) and
Naeve Rodgers was ninth (34-0 ¾ / 10.38m). Plus,
Lily Campbell took eighth in the javelin with a season-best toss of 127-5 (38.84m).

Following the meet, Duff was named the Field Athlete of the Meet for her efforts that included an individual title in the hammer, runner up in the discus and third in the shot put.
