Box Score BOISE, Idaho – The rigorous schedule for the College of Idaho women's tennis team continued on Sunday in a 7-0 loss to Portland State.
C of I, who falls to 2-9 on the season, were engaged in many tightly contested match against the NCAA Division I foe. The win for Portland State raises their record to 5-7.
The match started with Portland State winning a pair of 6-1 matches at the No. 1 and No. 2 flights of doubles. A 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles for the Vikings wrapped up doubles play.
Despite losing all six of its singles matches, at the No. 1 flight
Lauren Kreutzer lost by a 6-3, 6-3 margin and at No. 2
Taylor Johnson dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision for the Coyotes.
Next, C of I will face the University of Idaho on Saturday, March 12 at 5 p.m. at the Boas Tennis Center on the campus of Boise State University.
