KELLOGG, Idaho –
Taylor Watkins remained unbeaten on the Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference trail, picking up a 2-second slalom victory to lead College of Idaho to the team title at Silver Mountain.
The freshman posted a 2-run time of 1:20.52 to earn her fourth NWCSC qualifier title of 2022, ahead of teammate
Sasha Mueller (1:22.44) – who recorded her fourth podium effort of the year.
The Coyotes picked up the team title – recording a team time of 4:19.42, ahead of both the University of Oreon (4:26.73) and University of Idaho (4:41.62).
Kayla Vandecoevering placed tenth (1:36.46), finishing as the Yotes third scoring racer.
Amy Farley took 15th (1:55.55) and
Teresa McCallum placed 25th (2:07.38).
The NWCSC heads to Washington next weekend for giant slalom competition at 49-Degrees North.
