Taylor Watkins continued her stellar start to the 2022 ski season, cruising to the individual title, helping College of Idaho claim the first of two Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference slalom qualifiers at Silver Mountain.
The freshman dominated the 5-team field, with her winning time of 1:16.41 over three seconds ahead of teammate
Sasha Mueller (1:19.52).
Amy Farley placed fourth (1:21.49), with Kayla Vandercoevering taking 15th for the Coyotes.
C of I recorded a team time of 3:57.42, well ahead of the University of Oregon (4:21.94) and the University of Washington (4:51.58).
The Yotes close out the weekend tomorrow with a second slalom qualifier.
