Box Score POCATELLO, Idaho – Playing their second of four-straight NCAA Division I opponents, The College of Idaho dropped a 7-0 decision to Dixie State inside Reed Gym.
The Trailblazers (1-8) picked up their first win of the season, winning all nine matches on the day.
C of I (0-4) won at least one game in all three doubles matches – including three games by
Leiana Almaraz and
Sara Altfas in a 6-3 setback to Sabrina Longson and Alexandra Hildreth at No. 2.
In singles play,
Taylor Johnson battled at No. 2 against Hildreth, losing 6-2, 6-3, while Almarez dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision at No. 3 to Ya-Chi Hsu.
The Yotes return to action next weekend, traveling to Boise for matches vs. Boise State and the University of Idaho.
