BOISE, Idaho - Boise State rallied from a 7-2 second quarter deficit, taking the lead on a Matt Blethen goal late in the third quarter and held on for a 10-9 victory over The College of Idaho at Lincoln Field.
The MCLA Division I Broncos (2-0) got three goals early in the third quarter from Andrew Walker to pull even and turned to their defense to stymie the Coyote attack.
C of I (1-2) started quickly, jumping to a 5-1 lead after 15 minutes. Both
Casey Davies and
Dane Hamilton scored three goals in the loss.
The Yotes return home next Sunday to host the University of Montana.
