LEXINGTON, Ky. - The College of Idaho was one of 1,315 teams honored today by the American Volleyball Coaches Association with the AVCA Team Academic Award, sponsored by the United States Marine Corps.
To earn the honor, all eligible student athletes on a squad must maintain a 3.30 cumulative grade point average for the academic year. The Coyotes finished the 2019-20 school year with a cumulative 3.43 grade point average, earning the award for the third-straight year.
C of I was one of three teams from the Cascade Conference to earn the recognition - joined by rivals Eastern Oregon and Southern Oregon.
