Lauren Kreutzer completed a perfect weekend in her home state, claiming wins in both singles and doubles, earning the lone points of the day for the College of Idaho, as the Yotes dropped a 7-2 decision to George Fox inside the Duke Athletic Center.
The true freshman, who picked up a pair of victories in yesterday's win at Willamette, teamed with
Leiana Almaraz to notch an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles over Jillian Studer and Taylor Morris. In singles, Kreutzer cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 win over Studer at No. 1.
The Division III Bruins (4-2) picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, and picked up wins in five of the six singles matches.
Alex Sorte forced a superbreaker at No. 2 - losing 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (14-12), with
Natalie Little dropping a tight 7-5, 7-6.
C of I (1-6) is off until Spring Break, when the Yotes travel to Arizona for four matches.
