Natalie Little rallied to earn a singles victory and
Sydney Ewing and
Marissa Shirley combined to claim a win in doubles, as the College of Idaho dropped a 6-1 decision to host Lewis-Clark State inside the LCSC Tennis Center.

The Coyotes (0-2) played toe-to-toe with the perennial power – as Ewing and Shirley earned a 6-3 victory at No. 3 over LCSC's Sophie Uhlenkott and Alexis Maison. The Warriors, however, claimed the doubles point, as Laura Roselli and Begona Andres outlasted
Alex Sorte and
Natalie Little, 7-5.
Little had an outstanding effort at No. 5 singles, rallying from two breaks down to force a Set 1 tiebreak, while dominating Set 2 and grabbing the superbreaker to top Kayla Collier 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 (12-10).
Sorte played well at the top of the ladder, forcing a Set 2 tiebreak against Andres, before losing 6-3, 7-6, with
Lauren Kreutzer dropping a 6-4, 6-2 decision at No. 2 to Laura Diaz.
C of I returns to action next Sunday, meeting Linfield College in Boise.
