Record 54 Athletes Earn CCC All-Academic Team Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The College of Idaho established a new school and conference-record for fall sport recipients of the U.S. Bank Academic All-Cascade Conference award, leading all league schools with 54 honorees, announced by the league office.

It marks the second-straight year that over 50 Coyote student-athletes earned the distinction, with the members of the men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, men's cross country and women's cross country teams surpassing last season's record total of 51.

To earn the honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a 3.20 or higher cumulative grade point average.

C of I finished well ahead of the other schools in the league – as Corban (45), Southern Oregon (43), Oregon Tech (41) and Bushnell (39) rounded out the Top-5.

Three different Coyote teams had double-digit All-Academic Team selections – as the women's soccer program featured 15 recipients, the men's soccer program had 14, with the volleyball squad posting 10.
