Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Straub is in his fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

2019-20: In track, competed indoors in the 800 (2:05.45) and the 1,000-meter (2:47.65) events. In cross country, competed in four meets, recording a season-best 8,000-meter time of 28:28 at the Warrior Invite. Named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in both cross country and track.

2018-19: In track, had season-best marks of 4:34.29 in the 1,500-meters and 17:45 in the 5,000-meters...named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team. In cross country, competed in four races, recording a season-best 8,000-meter time of 28:57 at the Warrior Invitational...named to the CCC All-Academic Team.

2017-18: Did not compete during the track season; in cross country, had a season-best 8,000-meter time of 29:53 at the Warrior Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Franklin High in Oregon, where he ran for both the cross country and track teams.

PERSONAL: Studying mathematics and computer science.
