Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Klekas is in his third season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

2020-21: In cross country, placed 18th at the Eastern Oregon Duel in the Dirt with a time of 18:08; in track, had top times of 2:03.97 in the 800-meters and 4:26.61 in the 1,500-meters.

2019-20: In cross country, competed at the Cascade Conference Championships, where he placed 28th; clocked a top 8,000-meter time of 25:53 at the Warrior Invite. Did not compete during the indoor track season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2019 graduate of Elko High, where he placed second in the Nevada 3A state cross country championships, with a top 5,000-meter time of 15:55; in track, placed third in the 1,600-meters (4:28) and fifth in the 400-meters (51.59) at the 3A state championships.
