CALDWELL, Idaho –
Casey Davies scored five goals and added four assists, as the College of Idaho dominated No. 23 ranked Cal State San Marcos, 21-5, in a long afternoon at Simplot Stadium.
The No. 8-ranked Yotes (8-0) picked up their fourth win of the year against at Top-25 foe in a match-up that featured a 40-minute delay due to an injury and a 30-minute delay due to lightning.
C of I never trailed, scoring four goals in the first seven minutes of the contest.

Ryan Henning just 90 seconds into the match for a goal and off the ensuing draw, Davies tallied an unassisted marker to extend the lead.
Following the injury delay midway through the first quarter, the Cougars (3-7) found the net – but two Davies goals, along with scores from
Joey Brant and
Hank Ontiveros, extended the margin to 8-1.
The Coyotes led 15-2 at halftime and the teams decided to use a running clock for the rest of the night – stopped only by a rogue lightning bolt at the close of the third quarter that brought the second delay.
Henning and Walker each scored three goals for the Yotes, with Ontiveros and Brant each scoring two.
