BOISE, Idaho - Both the College of Idaho women's 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams hit NAIA "B" qualifying times and
Kiersten Lancaster clocked the fastest 100-meter hurdle time in the NAIA this season on Day 2 of the Boise State Border Clash at Dona Larsen Park.
In their final tune-up for the Cascade Conference Championships, the 4x100 team of
Payge Durocher,
Payton Durocher,
Payton Anderson and
Madison Glascock won the title with a time of 48.17 - easily hitting the NAIA provisional cut. Later in the day, Glascock and
Payton Durocher, along with
Madison Patrick and Lancaster, placed second in the 4x400, with their time of 3:55.88 over a full second under the NAIA "B" mark.
Lancaster blitzed the field in the hurdles, clocking a personal-best time of 14.10 seconds to win the event - the third-fastest time in program history and moving past Tiona Owens (14.12) of Wayland Baptist for the No. 1 spot on the NAIA Top-Times list.
Anderson had a big day in the sprints - recording season-best time of 12.93 seconds in the 100-meters and 26.21 seconds in the 200-meters, with
Azilyn Gwin meeting the CCC provisional mark in the 400-meter hurdles (1:13.65).
In the throws, KC Catey improved her conference javelin mark by nearly three meters (37.74 meters / 123 feet, 10 inches), with
Payge Durocher clearing 1.54 meters (5 feet, 0.5 inches) in the high jump.
