Box Score 2 LEWISTON, Idaho - The No. 2 doubles team of
Natalie Little and
Alex Sorte went a perfect 2-0 on the day, as the College of Idaho women's tennis squad opened the 2019 season with matches against Lewis-Clark State and Whitworth inside the LCSC Tennis Center.

The Yotes (0-2) were competitive in both matches despite dropping an 8-1 decision to nationally-ranked L-C State and a 6-3 decision to Whitworth.
In the morning match, Little and Sorte fought back from a 6-4 deficit to force a tiebreaker, defeating Laura Rosselli and Jen Roux, 9-8. In the evening, the duo dominated the Whitworth pair of Avery Liening and Marissa Kirk, 8-2.
Little also earned a victory at No. 3 singles against WU - rallying from a set down to defeat Emma Jo Wiley 2-6, 6-2, 7-6.
Leiana Almaraz earned her first collegiate win, stopping Kirk in straight sets 6-4, 6-0.
