COMPLETE MEDIA GAME NOTES

HIGHEST RANKING EVER: Despite a bye week, the Coyotes moved up one spot to No. 8 in the latest AFCA-NAIA Top-25 Coaches' Poll - the highest ranking in program history. C of I received 285 voter points from the 17 conference raters and is one of 13 teams in the NAIA with a 4-0 or better record. Two other Frontier Conference teams are in the Top-25 - No. 15 Montana Western and No. 22 Montana Tech.

STREAKING: The Coyotes closed out the 2018 season on a six-game win streak, extending their streak to 10 games with their 42-0 victory at Rocky Mountain on Sept. 28 -  their longest run of victories in 65 years. It is just the second 10-game win streak in program history, joining the 1952 and 1953 teams that eventual won a school-record 14 games in a row, closing 1952 with six-straight wins and opening 1953 with eight wins in a row. Saturday, C of I will put a 5-game road win streak on the line in Helena - just the third Coyote team to win at least five in a row away from Caldwell. The Yotes won 5-straight on the road between 1948-49 and picked up 10-straight road wins between 1952-54. The squad will also look to extend a 6-game win streak in Montana, dating back to a 2017 win in Helena over Carroll.

4-0 STARTS: The win over Rocky improved C of I to 4-0 on the season - their best start since the 1969 season. The Coyotes have began a season 4-0 or better seven times - with the 2019 team joining  the 1919, 1934, 1935, 1953, 1954 and 1969 squads with victories in their first four games.
