PACKWOOD, Wash. - Competing with a full scoring team for the first time in 2019, the College of Idaho women's alpine ski team placed third overall in today's Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference slalom qualifier at White Pass Ski Area.
Behind another Top-10 finish from
Dana Randolph, the Yotes recorded a two-run team time of 5:07.76 - just behind team champion, British Columbia (4:0.68) and second-place Whitman (5:03.89).
Randolph placed fifth overall (1;35.85) - her fourth Top-10 finish in five races - just three seconds behind individual champion, Danielle Dolan of Puget Sound (1:32.35).
Making her season debut,
Erin Skufca took 14th overall (1:43.40), while in her collegiate skiing debut,
Alexis Smith placed 19th (1:48.51).
The NWCSC closes out slalom competition tomorrow morning with the fourth and final qualifying race.
