FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The trio of
Maddy Kelly,
Caroline Yannelli and
Deandre Small each won two individual events and teamed to sweep both relays, as the College of Idaho earned a 121-98 dual meet victory at Pacific University.
Kelly added another NAIA "A" qualifying time to her resume, hitting the cut with her win in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.90), while dominating the field with her victory in the 100-yard butterfly (59.91), as the Lady Yotes (3-4) completed the weekend sweep in Oregon.
Yannelli claimed two wins in the final individual session – cruising to victories in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.39) and the 400-yard IM (4:56.24) – while Small continued a great season with wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.98) and the 100-yard freestyle (58.10).
Kelly, Yannelli and Small combined with
Hailie Mazick for easy wins in the 200-yard medley (1:53.41) and the 400-yard freestyle (3:50.23) relays.
