TACOMA, Wash. - The Yotes women's swim team was back in the pool to end the weekend in Tacoma, facing off with Puget Sound and Southwestern Oregon on Saturday.
In hte 200 yard freestyle,
Isabel Carrillo took home fifth, finishing with a time of 2:13.53. In the 50 yard freestyle,
Darby Rossi and
Mia Petrisevac took ninth and tenth, finishing with times of 30.34 and 32.64 respectively. Carrillo would take fourth in the 500 yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 6:01.98. Rossi would end in eighth in 100 yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:09.69.
In the 400 yard IM,
Micah Sharples took fourth, finishing with a time of 5:05.55. Sharples would finish third in the 100 yard backstroke, ending with a time of 1:08.20. In the 100 yard butterfly,
Julia Bergseng took home fifth, ending with a time of 1:13.24, which was two seconds faster than her seed time.
The Yotes will return to the pool against the University of Idaho in Moscow on December 1.Â
