Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Yannelli is in her fourth season with the Coyote swim program; heads into her junior year with 13 all-time All-America honors.

2019-20: Qualified for the NAIA National Championships in three individual events - placing second in the consolation final of the 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.52), third in the consolation final of the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.51) and 31st in the preliminary round of the 200-yard IM (2:14.12); swam legs on both the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams that earned All-America honors; named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team and a first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American.

2018-19: Had six All-America performances at the NAIA Championships - two individual and four relay efforts; placed fourth in the championship final of the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.11) and seventh in the final of the 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.32) - breaking the school-record in each event; placed fifth in the consolation final of the 200-yard IM (2:21.32); swam the breaststroke leg on both the 200 and 400-yard medley relays and the third-leg on both the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays that each finished in the Top-5; named to the Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 At Large Team and a second-team Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-American.

2017-18: A banner freshman season that was capped at the NAIA Championships – qualifying for the evening session in all three individual events, racking up five All-America honors; placed second in the consolation final of the 400-yard individual medley, earning seven key team points, while earning All-America accolades in both breaststroke events (and three All-America awards in relay events); placed sixth in the 100-breast with the second-fastest time in program history (Yannelli broke the record in December at the Husky Invite), while crushing the school mark with a fourth-place finish in the 200-breast (2:21.99)

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Judge Memorial High, where she broke the school record in the 100-breast (1:07.35) as a senior, placing fourth in the event at the Utah 4A state championships; as a junior, placed third in the 100-breast and fifth in the 200-IM.

PERSONAL: Studying health sciences and history.
