Alex Sorte and
Hailey Boyd each won singles' and doubles' matches, as the College of Idaho toppled host Pacific Lutheran, 5-4, at Sprinker Recreation Center.

The Lady Yotes (5-6) took 2-of-3 doubles' points, with Sorte's win at No. 3 singles clinching C of I's fourth win in five matches.
All three doubles matches were routs – including Boyd and
Erin Huffman cruising past the Lutes (2-15) Emily Beemsterboer and Emily Bower at No. 2, 8-1, and Sorte and
Natalie Little stopping Kylie Rademacher and Ingrid Erickson at No. 3, 8-2.
C of I earned two quick singles' wins – a 7-5, 6-1 victory at No. 2 by
Megan Huffman over PLU's Bower and a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 by Boyd over Lauren Kearney. Sorte clinched the win, stopping Megan Beyers 6-2, 7-6. The win could have been even bigger, but PLU players pulled out a pair of wins in third set super-breakers.
The Yotes close out the season next week – playing a scrimmage vs. Treasure Valley CC and a season ending match-up at Boise State.
