Tyler Sanchez drilled home a goal to give C of I a 5-3 lead. Guzzetti, Carson and Rem Bauer each scored in the opening five minutes of the second period to push the margin to 8-3.
The visitors pulled within 9-6 early in the third quarter, but the trio of Guzzetti, Carson and Green each scored over a five minute period to extend the margin to six goals, as C of I broke the game wide open.
