WAIHAPU, Hawaii - A dominating performance by the College of Idaho netted the Lady Yotes a 9-0 victory over host Chaminade University to open up their Spring Break tour of the Hawaiian Islands.

The Lady Yotes (2-5) did not lose a set against the Division II program during the morning matches at Central Oahu Regional Park.
In doubles' play, the No. 1 team of
Hailey Boyd and
Erin Huffman set the tone, cruising to an 8-3 pro-set win over the Silverswords (0-12) Elyssa Shirai and Emma Haurillon. At No. 3,
Alex Sorte teamed with
Natalie Little for an 8-2 win over Kim Spring and Hannah Parker - giving Little her first career win.
C of I won all six singles' matches, including
Megan Huffman topping Cai Yan Fang 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1.
Allie Boyd beat Tomomi Kohno at No. 3 and
Hailey Boyd beat Spring at No. 5 by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores.
The Lady Yotes continue play on Wednesday, meeting Division III Mills College.
