The Lady Yotes (0-3) held a 4-3 match advantage heading into the bottom two slots in the ladder.  After Marissa Hiyachi grinded out a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 5 over
Hailey Boyd, the match came down to a see-saw affair between the Boxers Johanna Wilson and C of I's
Vanessa Almaraz. After Wilson dominated the first set, 6-2, Almaraz responded by rolling 6-2 in the second set. Instead of a third deciding set, the duo played super-breaker (as Pacific was to play an afternoon match), with Wilson taking the victory 10-5.
Alex Sorte had a stellar day for C of I, teaming with Boyd for an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles, adding a 6-1, 7-6 victory at No. 2 singles over Chantelle Bailey.
Erin Huffman added a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 4 singles over Mai Kobiyashi.
C of I closes out the Oregon trip on Sunday with a morning match at Willamete.
