LEWISTON, Idaho – The tandem of Megan Huffman and Erin Huffman picked up a victory at No. 2 doubles to highlight the College of Idaho in an 8-1 loss to No. 16 ranked Lewis-Clark State inside the LCSC Tennis Center.
Complete Results The win by the freshman twin sisters capped an amazing 9-2 season for the duo in doubles competition and marked the first victory against a Warriors (7-12) doubles' team by the Yotes since 2005.
Huffman-Huffman rallied for a 9-8 victory over Putri Dwinta and Stephanie Buckingham.
LCSC took the remaining points on the day, though the Yotes (4-7) Shae Stults and Allie Boyd played tough in an 8-3 loss at No. 1 doubles to Bryn Oliveira and Hannah Uhlenkott, with Megan Huffman dropping a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Buckingham at No. 2 singles.
C of I caps the season with a 4-7 record and will return five of the six players on the roster.
